It’s a sentimental season for the Buffalo Sabres as this is going to be Hall of Fame play-by-play announcer Rick Jeanneret’s last final season. He is going to be behind the mic introducing the Sabres onto the ice. Rick Jeanneret began his career with the Sabres in 1971. His passion, energy, and dedication to the Buffalo Sabres throughout the years has truly been incredible to watch and listen to over his long and remarkable career. But, it’s not over just yet… make sure to get to a game to hear Rick Jenneret for his final season as the Buffalo Sabres announcer.

The Sabres will also honor French Connection member Rene Robert, who passed away on June 22, 2021. Robert’s retired number 14 will be seen on the ice behind both nets. His memory and legacy will live on forever.
