For many Buffalonians, fall may be their favorite time of the year. Not only because of the beautiful leaves or the fresh apple cider from Mayer Bros, but also because it is the one time of the year that we aren’t hiding indoors escaping the extreme heat or the lake-effect snow.
Canalside is making sure that everyone gets out and enjoys the beautiful fall weather with their Autumn series, titled Buffalo’s Own Oktoberfest. Oktoberfest spans across four weekends, starting on Saturday, September 22nd and following through to Sunday, October 14th.
Every weekend, from 10am-8pm, you can enjoy all of your favorite fall activities, including a Buffalo Hay Maze, Traditional Beer Hall, Pumpkin Patch and Pop-Up Vendors. They will also have Water Front Hay Rides from 12pm-4pm.
In addition to the regularly scheduled activities, Canalside will be hosting special events throughout the four weeks of festivities.
- On September 29th, they will be hosting a Traditional Oktoberfest for everyone 21+ that loves traditional cider with a kick.
- On September 30th, they will be putting a twist on their normal fitness classes by doing a yoga class with goats.
- They will spend October 6th focusing on their Children’s Festival by featuring various children’s activities and a hay maze with special guests!
- To kick off the final weekend, on October 13th, they will host Rail Jam from 1-4pm and a Pumpkin Drop at 6pm.
