There are lots of options for live comedy this weekend to help you close out February with big laughs. Here are our picks for the week:

Helium Comedy Club in downtown Buffalo will host Los Angeles comedian Samuel J. Comroe for six headlining shows Feb. 21-23. After a breakthrough performance on the TBS show “Conan,” Comroe has appeared on BET’s “Real Husbands of Hollywood” with Kevin Hart and had a long run on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” Comroe’s observational comedy and life with Tourette Syndrome has earned him tens of thousands of fans on YouTube. Comroe will perform at 8 p.m. Feb. 21, 7:30 and 10 p.m. Feb. 22, and 5, 7:30 and 10 p.m. Feb. 23. Tickets range from $17 to $33. Info: buffalo.heliumcomedy.com

Comedian Talent returns to Buffalo with his “Takeover” show at 8 p.m. Feb. 21 in at Shea’s Smith Theater. A radio personality and veteran of “Def Comedy Jam,” Talent continuously tours while spotlighting other black comedians. Joining Talent will be comics Dante Carter and Charles Walden, both of whom have been featured on BET’s “Comic View” series.  Tickets are $25. Info: sheas.org

Michael Harrison returns to headline shows at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. at Rob’s Comedy Playhouse (1340 North Forest Road, Williamsville) that will be recorded for his next comedy album. In addition to touring North America, Harrison also has appeared on television on “The Bridge,” “Queer as Folk” and the TBS movie “Jazzman.” He is a regular guest on the syndicated radio program “The Bob and Tom Show.” Tickets are $12.
