1) Ballyhoo

Enjoy homemade sausages and craft brews or cocktails located near the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino and within short walking distance from First Niagara Center and Canalside. Look for the red staircase outside and that’s how you know you’ve found the right place. Their menu offers a variety of different sausages in a bun, served with chips. 2) Undergrounds Coffee House & Roastery 

Lift your spirits with fresh brewed coffee at this Historic Cobblestone District treasure. This funeral home turned reading cove and caffeine paradise will not disappoint. If you’re a breakfast fan you’re in luck – they serve breakfast all day. They also have some delicious lunch menu items including tasty sandwiches and salads. The sandwiches, whether it be breakfast or lunch, are top tier. Their famous ” The Ralph Wilson” breakfast sandwich is perfect to have on Sunday morning or game day eve for good luck as the Bills football season kicks off this Sunday! Everyone run (don’t walk) to get your Ralph Wilson breakfast sandwich before the home opener. The sandwich is just egg and cheddar cheese on a toasted bagel and you can add bacon, sausage, or turkey sausage to top it off. If you’re not a bagel person, you can substitute it for a wrap or bread.

Calling all vegans : add this to your list of Buffalo food places to check out! Undergrounds Coffee House & Roastery has a vegan breakfast sandwich, vegan butter for bagels/toast, and more. Options can often be limited for eating out as a vegan, so this is definitely worth trying.

Let’s talk coffee – as it is in the name of their company. They have everything  you can imagine to satisfy your coffee and espresso needs – including an espresso bar where they serve up their custom made fresh roasted espresso blend. Hot coffee, specialty lattes, iced coffee with a variety of flavors, and much more. 3) Chef’s 

Destination for hearty Italian comfort food & desserts welcoming families & friends since 1923. Located on the corner of Seneca and Chicago Street and serving up some of the best Italian food in all of Western New York. Their world famous spaghetti parmesan is the ultimate comfort food ( hopefully you like cheese). Their menu is big – with a variety of Italian dishes including pasta, spaghetti, chicken, veal, sandwiches, gluten-free options and more. If you live in Buffalo and haven’t had chef’s yet, that would be shocking. Make sure to make your way over there soon and bring out of town visitors for a great meal and memorable dining experience.

4) Resurgence

Experience great beer in the city of good neighbors. Resurgence Brewing Company provides high-quality craft beer and cocktails to be enjoyed amongst friends and family. It’s a great spot for the community of Buffalo to gather and celebrate local products. Their menu is simple – offering appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, tacos, and more. Their outdoor area is beautiful – decorated with hanging bulb lights. The place is also huge, so it’s a great destination to go to if you are coming with a big party. 5) Hofbrauhaus Buffalo 

This business is the ninth American franchise of Munich’s famous Hofbrauhaus. Once you enter those doors, you will get the full German experience with huge mugs of beer, long wooden tables and benches, 700 seating options, a German menu, and delicious beer brewed on site. The night life is a full on dance party with the place rocking and people standing up with their beer mugs on the benches.
