2018 Lockhouse Sakura Gin Release
Saturday April 28
Lockhouse Distillery & Bar
12:00pm

Our immensely popular seasonal Sakura Gin is back for year two!

Made from cherry blossoms collected throughout the Olmsted Park System – in addition to traditional gin botanicals – Sakura Gin is produced in collaboration with the Buffalo Olmsted Park Conservancy, which is currently celebrating its 150th Anniversary of being the nation’s oldest park system.

The Sakura Gin recently won the ‘Best of Category – Signature Botanical Gin’ award at the American Distilling Institute’s 2018 Craft Spirits Judging.

Bottle sales will begin at noon at the distillery located in the Cobblestone District, 41 Columbia street. If purchased at the distillery, each bottle costs $35 including tax.

EVENT WILL FEATURE:
– Limited release bottle sales all day and evening.
– Special Sakura-themed cocktail menu by Bar Manager Casey Yeates
– Distillery production tours from 2-8pm
– Sakura Gin tastings
– Live music by DJ KAGE

For any bottle of Sakura Gin sold at either the distillery or any other retail outlet, Lockhouse will donate $1 to the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy. Each year, a Lockhouse-donated cherry tree will be planted on site at the Japanese Gardens to memorialize the relationship between the two organizations.

Remember, this product is seasonal and can only be produced once a year. Grab a bottle before it sells out!

The Lizards – Phish Tribute
Saturday April 28
Buffalo Iron Works
9:00pm

The Lizards – Phish Tribute: “The Lizards are a PHISH tribute band. Playing songs written and/or performed by the Phinest gents from Vermont.”

The Lizards made their debut in November of 2013, playing sold out shows and festivals to hundreds of fans. The band’s main goal is to recreate the Phish Experience. Whether it’s their ever changing setlists, synchronized dancing (or trampoline-ing) or touring with their own lighting rig and director (TG5), the band is committed to giving people that same feeling as the one we’ve all felt many times before.

The Lizards make it possible to gain that experience in our own backyard, with many feeling it’s been a long time coming that a band can create a community in this country for such a style of music. The Lizards intend to show everyone that they, above all things, can once again bring together a congregation of like-minded people that all want the same things: good times, good music & sore legs
